ABOUT EMILY
I find numbers, treat them with care,
and then release them back into the world as words and graphics
I am journalist with a passion for data-driven narratives. Over the last decade, I've sharpened my data reporting and analytical skills at TIME magazine, digging up big-picture trends and undiscovered quirks that make great stories.

Throughout my career, I've built hundreds of infographics and visualizations that bring raw data to life in meaningful and engaging ways. I use Tableau, Datawrapper, Excel, Python, and HTML, but I'd be lost without my trusty notebook and mechanical pencils.
Prior to TIME, I was part of the small-business team at the Wall Street Journal. Previously, I was a reporter at CNNMoney.com and FORTUNE Small Business magazine.
